TIE-KNOTS
Ties are often referred to as the business man’s ‘business card’. Together with shirt and suit/sports coat, a tie will emphasise the personality of the wearer. Whether as a ‘link’ to a proper, trendy or sporty outfit – a few rules should be observed all the same:
- For the perfect knot, the narrow end of the tie should not be any longer than the wide end.
- A proper tie should end just above the belt.
- As a rule, always undo the knot after you’ve worn the tie. It recovers best when lightly rolled up.
